Mine has had DPF deleted by the previous owner. There is total 6 temp. sensors, 4 for DPF and 2 for EGR, EGR sensors are not visible for diagnistic tool (iCarsoft at least). So I can see values from B1S1, B1S3 and B2S1. B1S2 stays at zero always. Pressure difference sensor value also stays at zero (plug disconnected). B1S1 and B1S3 value changing depending of accelerator pedal depressing. B2S1 change only with rapid acceleration, its locate after secondary turbo. |

It appears that LR didn't provide retrieval of the 2 EGR temperatures via OBD commands as no diagnostic tool can see them. |

Thank you for the information. Do you have also EGR deleted or only DPF? As I'm actually more interested of EGR-delete-only data. But all the information is valuable, so thanks. Like GraemeS said, EGR temp sensors can not be viewed with OBD tool, only with a oscilloscope. Are these readings taken at idle or driving at partial load? Seems like you have B1S2 also written out then, as this one should be the hottest all the time since it is located after catalytic converter. Ironically this is the reading, that I am most interested in. |

No, only DPF deleted by previous owner (I have full car history from dealer, and there was lot of problems with DPF from the beginning. The car was delivered with a trailer there twice with red light. And every service visit owner comment was "again DPF light". After 2 years of ownership DPF problems suddenly ended, so probably then was deleting done).

I have received an offer from my local indy to do an engine remap and EGR delete. It would give 350 hp and 790 nm in torque.

Kokamagi - I don’t believe that engine temps will increase during DPF regen if only EGR mapped out, and with good reason…

Having just skimmed through all these pages have we come to a conclusion yet re EGR removal (hate the things) and from those that have them mapped out who is a reliable co to use (Still also chugging round in a TD5 alive mapped D2 that was mapped 110k miles ago ).? |

I had the dubious pleasure of taking off my plenum (doughnut) a couple of months to change out the oil cooler.
