Plenum hoses sweating?

I replaced my plenum hoses about 2 years ago with silicone ones and the engine is running fine.
Over the last few months I've noticed that they have an oil film on the area only between the hose clamps on the exterior of all four hoses.
Everywhere else is dusty dry.
Is it possible that the hoses are becoming porous?
I can't think of any other reason.
Thanks Kev.

Exactly the same as mine - 3.6 Tdv8 replaced the hoses a while ago and they’ve had this slight mist of oil over them too! Can’t understand why?

The inlet manifold was cracked and this exacerbated the misting but since fixing and degreasing everything, the fine film of oil is still present….. 2007 Range Rover Vogue 3.6 TDV8

Thanks Rudyard1. Reassuring that it's not just mine.
