Got my first RR mid-may.
I spent ages hunting and used the following guidance:

* L322
* Ideally Petrol - I do really low annual mileage now (8-9k)
* If SC: Must have tensioners/guides sorted
* If petrol: Should have had Supercharger overhaul
* A recent service ideally (plugs particularly)
* Autobiography if possibl
* Ideally it needed to be something rapid as I've been bored to death of a 'normal' car for the last year of owning an e-class merc wagon.

In a moment of madness/mid-life crisis - I found and decided upon a 2010 5.0SC Autobiography...

Previous owner had the car SORN'd for over a year and had done the tensioner/guides/SC service and new oil and also sorted 2 damaged injectors and replaced all the sparkplugs.

Merely buying the vehicle was a mission due to rail strikes (the car was 230miles away!) but we got there in the end.

I've had quick cars in the past; but the way this big car takes off definitely raises a smile! I'm certainly enjoying the driving experience and comfort.
SMG= Smiles per gallon figure is very high

Runs really nicely under low and high load. No leaks or unexpected NVH - which is nice.
I've had the aircon regassed and the Gearbox/diffs/transfer box fluids flushed and changed to start too.

Have started addressing some cosmetic TLC (new start button, detailing the interior over time..and using neutrarust on the underneath where required).

Have also been refurbing the back box back and itend to refit it (last owner seemed to have enjoyed no backbox-the Warplane soundtrack).
Wiper linkage/motor to replace (wont park correctly), EBP isnt working (ignoring it currently) and at some point Adaptive cruise module needs replacing.
Lastly an occasional normal height error cured by ingition off/on cycle.

just saying hi, as I have just joined the forum as two weeks ago I bought my first full fat Rangie.

For the last year I have owned a Range Rover sport and although I like the sport, one drive in the full fat and I was hooked.

Took a bit of a gamble with the new purchase as I bought her unseen from Matthewsons Auctions (Bangers & Cash) but so far so good and the drive from Pickering back to Wrexham was very relaxing and a good test of the vehicle.

So what I have bought I hear you all ask??

Hello everyone!

Great to see so many new people still acquiring L322s and joining the forum. I have owned my 2012 Westminster from January and after 6k miles I love it. My only costs have been some routine preventative maintenance such as changing fluids in the diffs and transfer box, brake fluid, oil and filters. Next week it will go in to have a tidy up of the early stages of corrosion on the rear arches. I have also had a full underseal done. The vehicle is just over 59k miles so a planned keeper.
I'd encourage any new buyer to do the same - invest in simple maintenance to keep theirs running good.
