'Thunk' from the back end - any ideas? | |
Driving up the ramps in a multi-storey the other day, there was a disturbing 'thunk' from the back end. It only occurred swinging to the right and mildly accelerating up the steepish ramps, at exactly the same point on each of the three ramps. No issues before or since, it is fine on the road, and I have been unable to replicate the noise again on the road.
Last mot had advisory for worn rear subframe bushes, possible the subframe could be moving enough to cause such a noise in specific circumstances? Any thoughts appreciated.
