Re: the rear door and CD changer

Rear door i believe is a common issue, can be the cable coming unhooked/broken but in my case a load of wd40 into the catch/lock and a few hard wacks and it free'd itself, if not its a door card off job to relocate the cable or replace. Have a search on here.

CD changer- again a common issue- open the sliding door and give the CD cassette a nice but firm wack with a small heavy object like a small hammer! it will pop out, but be aware this will be an ongoing issue so keep the hammer handy.

CD player I found the fix while searching! I’ll give it a decent whack at some stage. I have to say I don’t really use it as have an aux lead into the iPhone which is fuss free, and have pretty much retired my CD collection in favour of digital media.

Think it’s partly to do with my sons fascination with a CD changer! But probably just been put into use after a long period of inactivity.

Seen a few videos on the door issue but can’t quite work out if I do need to remove the door card if I can do it while the door is closed..

They look like 20 inch supercharged wheels to me, same as I’ve put on mine - a fine looking wheel.

Yep, indeed, they are a really nice looking wheel to my eyes. Changed the scabby centre caps to the new style Range Rover ones, and sorted the bonnet struts out as mentioned earlier.

It has a decent autobiography spec according to the vin decoder/build sheet.

Next thing I would really like to do is get the seats re coated, I’ve done this myself in an old Porsche when I was younger and had time and achieved amazing results. Think I would like a pro job done though so if anyone can recommend a good leather specialist near herts that might be able to undertake the work that would be great.

Also would like to get a mega flush done as well I think as there is a bit of hesitance going from 3rd to 4th under load.
