Oil Service and Regens 4.4 SDV8

I thought I would post an update on Regens since I changed the oil in December. All regens have successfully happened - I am always monitoring them. Except for the 1 that happened in the UK they have been about 750 km apart, the one in the UK was triggered after 500km - I think there is more traffic, so slower journeys.

An oil change at 47878 km with 25850 km until service
Today 62517 km with 10891 km until service

So 14639 km driven and 14959 km drop from service target. I am happy with that.

Just looking at booking the 48-month service, which is why I checked the numbers. SDV8 AB MY 2020

I would like to thank @Kot for his original post https://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic60839.html?highlight=nerd. That helped me set up the monitoring and to understand the process. SDV8 AB MY 2020

Sounds like a result!
I too have been keeping an eye on regens with my “Kot Kit” Mr. Green
Regens have gone from every 135 miles to every 200 miles, so heading on the right direction, but with mostly town driving, that’s quite significant.

Thanks to you both for the great posts and getting me interested in this low-cost and simple way to monitor the regens Bow down Bow down Bow down Thumbs Up “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?
