United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 V8 Stornoway Grey
Starting issue??

An issue hopefully you guys can help with.
I have a 2012 4.4 tdV8.
When I push the brake pedal to start I just get a click.
If I pump the pedal and bring it up and give it a good bit of foot pressure she starts.
Any ideas, please?

Clicking on start up on the 4.4 TDV8 is very common and is nearly always the signs of a starter motor failing. 2002 4.6 Vogue SE - Alveston Red with Lightstone Leather

Usual suspects are a new starter motor but worth checking earth straps first.
Not too bad a job to replace the starter motor and there is a DIY guide on here. Requires small hands and a fiddly extraction Rolling with laughter
Or do what I did and get it fitted by a professional. I used my local place www.glenrands.co.uk Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"
