Kwik fit can’t do wheel allignment

Hi all my local Kwik fit, usually good for wheel allignments say they can’t do it on my 2018 L405 because they need a special tool which they don’t have? Are they talking Censored ? Or is this a genuine issue?

Rang merityre and they don’t believe anything is needed? But can’t fit me in for a few days?

Any ideas?

Thanks
Tom

You need to put the suspension into tight tolerance mode I believe (or at least on the L322 you do). I wonder if they don’t have diagnostics to do that? 2002 4.6 Vogue SE - Alveston Red with Lightstone Leather

See if you can find another wheel alignment specialist. Steer clear of kwikfit (sorry for the pun).

Great to see it happening “before your eyes” and no paranoia about the WD40 trick by shady operators… Shocked “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

Hi, you can try

https://alignmycar.co.uk/

you should be able to find some one with hunter’s equipment here. Maybe worth checking they have equipment to put in tight tolerance mode before booking in.
Hope it helps.

Always ask “How do you put it in Tight Tolerance Mode?”
If they look at you blank or dismiss it, walk away. Quickly Rolling with laughter Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"
