Dealer just told me it will be 2012 model, so we shall see when it arrives..........just hope they haven't made anything look too tacky......Can't understand why they don't have the very latest versions available to see first hand. They haven't gotten back to me yet with the actual spec of the changes though ![]() I love the fact that the FFRR still looks like a RR if you know what I mean. My very first RR was an old 1971 model back when I was a mere 18 - I thought it was fantastic - the sound of the low compression petrol V8 was beautiful and pulled like a train. Mind you it didn't have power steering as that was an option in those early days! Certainly helped to build muscles ![]() Even now, although soooooo much more luxurious the new FFRR has those same lines, just smootheed out a bit. If they go and change it to something that looks like the one in that picture, it may take me a few years to get used to it ![]() |

Have a look in the MY12 thread. It isn't a new model, it's just a revision, like 2011 was to 2010. The actual new model is due to go on sale at the end of next year, with cars arriving from March 2013. The Vogue SE specification hasn't changed AFAIK. |

Anyone taking into account that a Vogue SE will command a higher residual and resale price than a Vogue with 5 Grand's worth of extras, most of which will be lost in the value when its time to sell. |

Agreed ! Mind you same with all the bits you can put on the SE - I've added RSE, passenger memory, etc......the list goes on.....will I ever see that cost back - I doubt it, but I'll certainly enjoy all the toys ![]() BUT then when the new looking 2013 model comes out, all of ours will be worthless ![]() |

If you're adding Passenger Memory, can I suggest you consider Seat Pack 3? This gives you rear seat recline, AMAZING rear headrests, heated and cooled rear seats and lumbar support, along with Passenger Recline. Have this in my car and really recommend it for the £1600 it costs. Also, if budget allows, have a look at Vision Assist - the cameras are actually useful, the blind spot monitor great on motorway and High beam assist very accurate.

I did consider it, but thought it was a lot for what it was, but then spending 80K it's not much in % terms. How far back do the seats actually recline in the back ? Was that standard on the Autobiography ? oh and what does "only available with Adpative Dynamics" mean ? - it states that on the option - Seat 'Style 3' Seat Pack: Passenger Memory, Rear Seat Recline, Front seat away, Lumbar, Heated/Cooled and Winged Headrests (only available with Adpative Dynamics) Last edited by Rolo on 1st Jun 2011 6:13pm. No not standard on the Autobiography. Only things standard on Autobiography over Vogue SE are Dual View Screen and Adaptive Headlights (which are very good). Seats don't recline particularly far - similar to Mercedes S Class, but the cooling and the lumbar, and those winged headrests do add to the comfort factor. I'm glad I went with the pack though. Demonstrators don't seem to have them and I never actually got to 'try' them before I got them on mine.

Adaptive Dynamics is Standard on the Vogue in the UK so no worries there. |

No probs. 2012 doesn't go into production until the end of August so you have time. |

I know what you mean - most of the ones I looked at (demo's & used) had cream interior which then has black /grey & cream plastic on the doors. In my opinion the doors coiverings didn't look right because the colour variations and nothing seemed to match. This is why I went for Jet/Jet. I saw one with that and just all looked right & matched in well. The leather on yours is undoubtedly superb & very nice, but my worry is with dogs and young children it's even more to get scuffed. I don't know what it is about headlingings & kids, but they always seem to wreck that before the carpets ! It must feel nice on their sticky hands. Don't really fancy having to replace a leather one in 3 years to sell it if it's gotten ripped. What colour combination did you go for ? The thing is I've added dual view anyway, so it's only the adaptive headlights & extra leather then.....hmmm what a dilema. Maybe this thread should now be moved to "I'm buying a Vogue,,,,,um no, I'm buying a vogue with lots of extras,,,,,,,,,,,,,, um no I'm buying an SE,,,,,,,,,,,um no I'm buying an SE with lots of extras,,,,,,,,,,,, um actually I'm going to buy an Autobiography !!" |

Can I ask how do you know that ? The reason I ask is I've been promised it for 1st September..... I don't know how long it actually takes them to build a car once the order's in, but I would have thought a couple of weeks at least or do they shell em out like peas ?? Anyone on here who works there ? |

I read somewhere that model year changeover is July and new build starts 22nd August. 1st September looking unlikely - it took mine over a week from factory to dealership alone + PDI. |
