Mine isn't a lubrication issue, It works perfectly fine when it works, when it doesn't, it doesn't even attempt to move. When it refuses to move it will sometimes work if you keep pressing unlock, it's a wierd one as the drivers works everytime.

This. Search on here, it’s a very common issue with the DSS’s. Passenger side usually more affected due to less use. On my MY2017, I have to douse everything in ACF50 a few times a year, (which is messy stuff to have dripping all over your driveway, but seems to work for a good few months), -situation worse in Winter, obvs. Shame JLR didn’t include a few grease nipple points…… “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that? |
