Someone suggested I connect the battery with a jumper cable with another car and try to start it from the ignition switch. As crazy as it sounds the car starts but I have to continously need to be pressing the start button. If I leave it then car stalls by itself. Can someone please give me a diagram for all the fuses in the car. I think there is a fuse or relay which is blown. |

Here is the MY11-12 central junction box wiring diagram which may not be the same as your vehicle due to your vehicle having the earlier engine which uses a very different PCM.

I had a bit of bother with my 2012 FFRR Westminster. I had no brakes (intentionally) and it allowe the ignition on but not crank. After bleeding the brakes it was fine. They need to see hydraulic pressure in the ABS system.

Thanks for the input. I have ordered another ignition button, meanwhile I'll try to bleed the brakes again. Did you use software to bleed the abs system or just manual. I had tried bleeding the air before but there is no sufficent Fluid pressure pumping out of the brake lines. Oh well I'll try to bleed again. Thank you once again. |

Did you ever get anywhere with this? I have exactly the same problem at the moment so would be very interested to know.

To further my post, a week or so on I’ve essentially done the same thing as noted above. I used my diagnostics to trigger the starter motor which turns the car over. Thinking the start button could be part of the issue and at a cost of only £20 thought I’d replaced the stop start button (it was cracked anyway so no real loss here) but it hasn’t resolved the no start from the button press. All signs point to my ABS module not communicating with any of the ECU’s which look like, as I know one or two have alluded, they need an ‘OK’ from the ABS module for the vehicle to turn over from the start button. |

It would be great to know how this resolved. Did the guy end up breaking the car for parts. Or was it fixed.

My ABS module was knackered. Replaced the module and everything came back up. Been fine since |

Thanks, but it was the original post that I’m interested in as I do not have any brake issues. |
