I know there are threads about this but I'm still stumped as I cant seem to find the relevant fuse to pull.

I bought the car and it didnt have the fob so just bought an eBay one. The car does have a Webasto FBH.

There is no mention of the FBH fuse in either the bonnet, glove or boot fuse box fuse diagrams.

Is there another way of pairing it? First time FFRR owner

This is the process set out in the workshop manual:

FFBH REMOTE CONTROL PAIRING
Each FFBH remote control must be 'paired' to the FFBH receiver to enable communications. Each remote control has a unique identification number which is stored by the receiver. The receiver can store up 4 remote control identification numbers. If a fifth remote control is paired to the receiver, the receiver will overwrite the first paired remote control number.

Pair a remote control to the vehicle, as follows:
1 Remove fuse F1 (5A) from the CJB (Central Junction Box).
2 Wait for a minimum of 5 seconds.
3 Replace fuse F1 (5A) in the CJB then, within 5 seconds, press and hold the remote control OFF switch.
4 A successful pairing is indicated by the remote control LED illuminating red for 2 seconds.

NOTE:
The pairing process relies on the FFBH receiver having the power supply removed and then the power supply re-instated. The fuse method is the easiest method but it can also be achieved by battery disconnection or removal of the harness connector from the FFBH receiver.

Thanks Seatown, I'll have a another go tomorrow, the process looks easy enough its the finding the correct fuse to pull, Ive seen to pull 16a, F27 and now F1 but none of the fuse maps show that any of the fuses relate to a FBH (that I can tell). First time FFRR owner

I just pulled the plug out of the receiver in the boot when I did mine, then plugged it back in after the allotted time.
It seemed more straightforward than looking for the fuse and it meant I was confident that I had then pressed the remote button within the 5 seconds. 2017 Jaguar F Pace 25t Portfolio - still part of the JLR family 😀

Otherwise the fuse to pull is #27 in the passenger fuse box, this also feeds the TPMS and overhead front console.

It may be different for a 2018 car but on my 2013 model fuse F1 is in the passenger side fuse box behind the lower glove box.

To access the fuses, drop the lower glove box on its hinges by lifting slightly and at the same time pressing down on each side guide/runner. Then you should see a fuse diagram on the glove box rear, The fuses are hidden behind the large piece of sound deadening foam on the left hand side - grey/green in my photo below. Pull this out - it's not bonded in - and the fuses are revealed. F1 is the top left brown 5A fuse. Pull out and follow the instructions above.

The fuse allocation did change for the later models, not sure exactly when, but some time before 2016.

The information I posted is correct for model year 2018 (same year as mine).
