There’s no fixed interval in practice.

Very useful, thanks. That means a 50,000 mile car should have had about 3 services or so I think. |

It's 12 months or 16k according to the service schedule. Usually, it's whichever comes first but I don't believe this is explicitly stated. Kev

I picked up my 2018 SDV8 on the middle of January (so four months ago) and covered 5k miles. There haven't been many short duration journeys, some obviously but most journeys are at least 30 minutes and 20+ miles, a good chunk being 1hr plus journeys.

I get about 6/7 months in the last couple of years (Thanks COVID). I have an annual full service at Land Rover and do a 6 month oil and filter due to the oil dilution, it's not a huge cost in the grand scheme of FFRR ownership. Sold - Bell a 2015 MY16 Loire Blue Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

I'm a bit grumbly as my next service was part of the purchase deal so done want to waste it with a basic oil change/inspection and keeping the extended warranty so I guess that prohibits me doing other than what the book says.
