Bluetooth module and venture cam

Hello

I have a 2007 tdv8.
The bluetooth module is bad and it is bypassed. I dont need it for the phone but does it need to work for the venture cam?

I dont want to order new battery for my venture cam if it will not work without the bluetooth module. Very Happy

Yes, the venture cam uses the Bluetooth and your phone will disconnect when the venture cam is switched on.

You can replace the old style Bluetooth unit with one from a Discovery (the part number slips my mind) but you’ll need to make a new plug (live and earth only) as the original connector won’t fit.

I hope this helps?

Regards

John
