2015 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Santorini Black

Is there a way to find out what map version you have? Bought my 15my car in 2021 so not sure if it's ever had a update. Also, is the update just newer maps and POI's or are there any visible changes etc?

Big Cry Engine running, stick recognised, code asked for…. Then nothing for 40 mins. Said data was loading but never moved off 0%. Then message saying maps failed to load, please reinsert disc ( ie usb stick). So what now. Have emailed company that supplied download ( they don’t have a phone number ! ). Of course original sat nav now kaput

Just unplug the stick and plug in again.

I probably had to do that 5 or 6 times when i did my last upgrade.

Here’s how it went. I asked the map company to send me the update on a usb stick ( extra £10). Plugged it in and left it there. Over the last few days I’ve been driving around as normal, shortish journeys. Bit by bit, the download percentage has crept up until today when it hit 100% and told me my download was complete
Locked the car up for half an hour, went back started it up and BINGO, map update up and running.

A little side rant if I may. Not aware what the LR maps are like for UK but here in Canada they are woeful. Fine for city driving and that's about it. As such, I use Google maps as my default and Garmin for off the beaten track. I find it perplexing that an LR offers such limited / useless maps given their vehicles are intended to take you on remote adventures. Finished rant!

Really?
That would be annoying. I just did an update for my MY19 since I still have the map update package with JLR and it found an update. I was all pleased that I have updates included until 2025, but if there are no actually updates planned…. 2018 P400e AB LWB
