Reviving this thread to see if things have moved on in the last few years; I’m having trouble finding Shell TF 0753. But I can see that Smith & Allan specifically state conformance to Land Rover IYK 500010LRN 0753TF 0753. To quote from their spec: . Here’s the link https://www.smithandallan.com/product/smit...fluid-4187 @RRPhil was very specific on use of Shell TF 0753 so what’s people’s experience today? Anyone used the Smith & Allan branded equivalent oil ? TDV8 4.4 2012 |

I've been using Ravenol TF0870 for the last 70,000 kms without any noticible change from the LR oil. |

I’ve used Smith & Allen oils with no known issues. Totally understand the apprehension regards getting correct spec. I believe Smith & Allen have an association with Shell. I used their “ TF 0753 “ in my t/fer box, diff oils, & their 5w30 C1 engine oil. |

I've used Smith and Allan oils on my Diff's/Transfer and Engine - all in spec and no issues. Give them a call - really helpful people.
