L405 climate temperature sensors where are they?

Hi
Invested in an icarsoft v3 to enable a battery change and also to have in the car. Confirmed a couple of faults I knew about but was having issues with the climate and scanner has identified a fault with the temperature sensors on both rear face vents.

Does anybody know where the sensors are located - I can see the ones in the duct to the rear climate console face vents on the LR diagram but my 2014 L405 AB has the rear heater module so wondering if there are sensors in that part of the system (for the rear after all) before I start tearing apart the trim around the transmission tunnel.

Also picked up the egr temp sensor fault which doesn’t look to be an actual fault reading the threads on here and a dodgy aerial connection which explains poor radio reception. . Any opinions / experiences on those?

Cheers
Richard.

When the rear heater unit is fitted in addition to the four sensors for left and right floor and mid (face) ducts, there are one each for the left and right high-level vents (the sensors are in the ducts at the top of the "d" pillars). There is also a sensor on the evaporator in the rear heater unit.

The workshop manual in the wiki details these in the Auxiliary Climate Control section.

Many Thanks - the fault code B13DF-11 has been generated from the rear HVAC control module (there is a front HVAC and rear RHVAC module on cars with rear climate setup both with face vent temp sensors confusingly) so 90% sure it is the sensor in the duct in the D pillar as you describe. Will remove D pillar trim and see if I can access it Had no idea for the the manual where it would be located so appreciate the steer! Cheers Richard.

B13DF-11 = Rear Right Face Temperature Sensor - Short to Ground, so likely sensor has failed.

Sensors are item 19C734 in the picture below - part no. LR041044, about £15 from a dealer.

I removed the RH D pillar trims and could not locate the duct. Suspect the duct to the RHS face vent and 90degree bend where the sensor is located run under the headlining. Will get the sensor ordered and be a bit more adventurous with how far into the headlining I investigate. Thanks any how!
