Hi guys just a thought, recently had my cd changer out for repair and noticed the multi plugs are behind the glove compartment for the venture cam ,
I do have a spare cam and cradle and wondering if plugged in can this be enabled with the gap tool as I see no icon in 4x4 info for it,
I believe the venture cam sort of phased out in later years for all around cameras and blind spot monitoring which mine has and would hope that there would be no conflict if it can be enabled.

Any thoughts or advice would be welcomed 1990 3.5 v8 defender

But yes i can see it on the 4x4 screen after i changed the CCF with my GAP tool, just need to get a new battery for the camera lol L322 TDV8 2011 Autobiography

The batteries are not cheap, you have to solder them in or spend some more and plug and play battery is available 1990 3.5 v8 defender

Hi, can you tell me venture cam / cradle parts no. for L322 after 2010 year?
I connected changed in iidtool venture cam to fitted + companion camera to fitted. I have Camera option on the screen, but no connection, no pairing, and no charging camera in cradle. (Camera with new battery and turns on)

So are you saying you don’t have a cradle to slot the camera into? 1990 3.5 v8 defender

I trying to retrofit it.
I have two: XVL500070PVA. Doesn't work

Although I started this thread I haven’t done the installation yet I have all the parts to do it but time is my problem at the moment.
Shaunj69 who commented above has done it but hasn’t confirmed if it works or not,
The 2010 on I believe wasn’t available with venture cam only Al round cameras and blind spot monitoring which mine has . Having said that maybe the wiring and plugs are on the loom and can be enabled with the gap tool in the ccf file there maybe another reason for it not working such as an antenna and or a ecu controller 🤔 1990 3.5 v8 defender

It was avaliable on 2010 onwards. Owner manual says how to use it. In parts catalogue it also exists, but no one gives proper numbers in the internet.

Ahh ok well that makes it more difficult as maybe the newer cradle could be different in some way, I’ll check the part number I have when I get home, the donor kit I have came from a 2008 which is closer to 2010 but still could be different.
From Landrover this part I’m sure would be horrendous ££ if available 1990 3.5 v8 defender

2008 for sure is wrong one. it is different entertainment system. Physically looks the same, probably different software inside.
