No updates as of late other than the main battery was diagnosed as faulty by a trusted mechanic with a midtronics tester.

I had no 'faults' to speak of other than the stop start seemingly never functioning except for 2 days when I charged the main battery.

The main battery was JLR branded so could have been original.

Secondary battery also appears original but everything inc stop start is now working so will leave well enough alone!

A new issue popped up today:

'Incorrect diesel exhaust fluid quality detected'

A quick look on here suggests this is a 'catch all' message for the DEF/Adblu system and a clogged adblu injector can be a cause.

Guess I'll be trying out LR assist for the first time tomorrow

So apparently although I have LR extended warranty I don't have LR assist. It expired in June 2022.

I've checked the adblu injector, it was very clean, barely any build up. Plugged in SDD and reset everything to do with adblu.

This changed the warning to 'diesel exhaust fluid dosing malfunction' or something similar.

Bit of driving and the warning has gone away, topped up the adblu again and will see how it goes
