Thanks Knwatkins!

Great to know Brunel, I've had issues with wheels nuts on all mine and the families LR products.

Shame LR didn't swap to solid wheel nuts but this would have involved more cost during manufacture.

Picked up an ebay bargain... 'as new' illuminated sill/scuff plate to replace the drivers side.

Half the 'autobiography' lettering has worn off the original so couldn't resist this replacement at just £65.00.

Gave the 405 a much needed clean today, did some paint touch ups here and there and some on the alloys and also fitted my new illuminated sill on the drivers side.

The L405 is going in today for diagnosis of the air suspension fault. Fingers crossed for a good outcome Thumbs Up

The L405 is back from having had a new compressor fitted.

The air suspension seems to be working as it should now.

Two new tyres going on today.

Best price I could find at £480 for 2 Scorpion Verdes fitted.

These replace the 2 x 2015 date stamped tyres on the car.

Wow! Shocked got mine for £160 each (255/55/R19) but not home service. local place down the road.

Seems like a good price Dolphinboy.

I'm on 275 45 21 so probably explains the higher cost.

None of my local tyre retailers could match or beat the Halfords/tyres on the drive price!
