Stan, I’d be very wary of doing this, not sure about RR headlights, but some headlights have an anti-fog coating on the inside, which could be damaged, so best research it well first. There are quite a few YouTube vids on this subject, good & bad as usual. Thumbs Up “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

its a job i would be reluctant to do because of the hassle of bumper off/headlights out ..

didnt know about the anti-fog coating though.. ... - .- -.

A long time ago (in a far far away galaxy......) I touched the silvering on a foglight with my finger, I don't know if this is the same for headlights but if it is beware - it was terminal for the reflector. Geoff

The silver lining on old reflectors is very much just a thin plating layer which comes off with the lightest of touches I’ve found, and cant really be cleaned easily. No idea about projector bulbs, but i really cant see there being a need to clean them. If they dont look dirty, dont touch them.

If they feel dull, it’s more likely the bulb itself worn out and losing brightness. V8 or else ...
