its a job i would be reluctant to do because of the hassle of bumper off/headlights out ..

A long time ago (in a far far away galaxy......) I touched the silvering on a foglight with my finger, I don't know if this is the same for headlights but if it is beware - it was terminal for the reflector. Geoff |

The silver lining on old reflectors is very much just a thin plating layer which comes off with the lightest of touches I’ve found, and cant really be cleaned easily. No idea about projector bulbs, but i really cant see there being a need to clean them. If they dont look dirty, dont touch them.
