My post, number 3 in this thread, is a screenshot of the workshop manual oil specifications from the WSM in the Wiki, and shows 934. 2012 (L322) 4.4TDV8 Vogue SE, RSE, Fuji White over Arabica.

Would there be any real benefit in using a DPF-approved oil (e.g., Castrol EDGE 5W-30 C1) over a non-DPF oil (e.g., Castrol Magnatec Stop-Start 5W-30 A5) in a car that is not equipped with a DPF?

Some or possibly all ROW 4.4 L322s weren't fitted with a DPF. The DPF compatible oils are a compromise so I won't use them, preferring to stick with non-DPF oil. |
