ARB Drop link replacement - suspension knock

Dealer has advised replacing one of these under warranty as a cure for a knocking noise on uneven roads, should these not really be replaced in pairs? I was thinking of having both sides done even if I have to pay for 1 side. Currently on 36,000 miles
Advice welcome, thanks. MY19 SDV8 Autobiography

They're not critical enough to need replacing in pairs as they don't have any effect on alignment or ride height; but in practice I always do both on my cars as they're cheap and easy to replace and if one's gone the other's normally not far behind. 2012 (L322) 4.4TDV8 Vogue SE, RSE, Fuji White over Arabica.

Thanks, that was pretty much my thinking that I'd be back soon having the other side done. MY19 SDV8 Autobiography

I suggest replacing the sway bar bushings at the same time. The bushings are likely most of the issue. Replace both in pairs.

I replaced my end links and it helped. Replacing the bushings cured the problem. Dan. 🇨🇦 2013 L405 5.0 SCV8

Thanks Bora that was my initial feel too but seeing as it's warranty work they have to get approval at every stage and this is all that's got the green light, if I was paying my independent I'd just do the whole lot. MY19 SDV8 Autobiography
