Rear Wiper

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone had come across an issue with the rear wiper where it works intermittently, after a few wipes it just stops on the window then a while after will work again, I was going to purchase a used one online from a breakers but I’m not so sure it will solve the issue?

Hi

I’m sure this is the correct way of working, to allow the drips and excess wash to run off the rear screen. Cool Range Rover 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography

I asked a similar question a while back shortly after I got my L405.

It seems the standard process of the rear wipe on intermittent mode is to wipe a couple of times to start with then a single wipe one way and park..... then a single wipe the other way and park (and so on)

I was used to the double wipe and park in the 'home' position but this has changed.

(See my provious post here)

Thanks guys but this is a change of behaviour for mine and not normal. I'm thinking a new motor. Did the change on my 322 so how hard can it be on the 405. 2017 5.0 Autobiography Supercharged

From the Wiki, download and find the procedure. Doubtful it is hard. Likely time consuming. Dan. 🇨🇦 2013 L405 5.0 SCV8

Thanks everyone, for mine the wiper basically stops in the middle of the rear window, doesn’t move again for a while then wipes a few times and sticks again. I think I’m going to just buy another motor and see how if it fixes the issue.
