Do you have a tow bar fitted? Can usually connect a charger via the electrics that should let you in. Alternatively need to access starter motor and connect via the main electric feed to the solenoid. 2012 tdv8 Westminster arrived Jan 19 gone Dec 23

No, do I just pop the indicator out and connect live to one and neutral to the other?

the way i should do it is to pop the repeater out and expose both wires connect the earth wire from the doner battery to a good earth on the vehicle that leaves the positive live to deal with touching one of the bare wires with the live from doner battery . have your remote handy to press new vehicle purchase

Thanks for the advice. Does it matter which wire I connect the live too? Will I do any damage if I get the wrong one?

The OP Mentioned the emergency key. Doesn’t the 2010 MY have a conventional key to use in the lock? Ron B. VK2OTC

Am I right in thinking it’s OS wheel off, liner out and keep going till you find either the starter or Alternator? |

what is the engine model James if you are going in the wheel side and liner out the bonnet cable runs behind the liner on o/s I have seen a vid showing someone giving the outer cable a good pull and the bonnet opened . if not might need to remove the engine cover and get underneath to get at the alternator
