L405 Oil Cooler Coolant Leak

Hi Guys do any of you have any experience, with Oil Cooler Coolant Leak ?
Is it a new gasket kit or Oil cooler as well ? & what sort of Price / labour costs involved, just had car serviced & advisory in notes was coolant leak on oil cooler.. Would have thought the garage would have contacted me & advised whilst servicing car ? but got the feeling they did not want to get involved !!!
Does it mean dropping oil out etc,

Oil leaking from the oil cooler is a common issue on these engines - almost inevitable and plenty of info on it if you use the search engine Wink . If it's leaking coolant it may be the EGR cooler below it - pray it isn't as it's a much more expensive and complicated job. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

It may be the EGR cooler under the oil cooler then - unfortunately this is a much more difficult job. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Get a proper diagnosis before you go any further. A garage with a borescope should be able to see where the coolant is coming from. I also suggest a specialist LR garage rather than a general garage. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

I had the same diagnosis from a main dealer but it turned out to be the thermostat housing. It’s a three hour job once they have the parts. Housing is £125ish and labour approximately £400.
Good luck. Thumbs Up

'Once they have the parts' seems to be an issue at the monet. have same problem on mine. I've been told upper and lower thermostat housings/pipes etc are out of stock until May!

Oil coolers also in short supply but did at least manage to find one of those.
