Oil leaking from the oil cooler is a common issue on these engines - almost inevitable and plenty of info on it if you use the search engine . If it's leaking coolant it may be the EGR cooler below it - pray it isn't as it's a much more expensive and complicated job. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

It may be the EGR cooler under the oil cooler then - unfortunately this is a much more difficult job. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

Get a proper diagnosis before you go any further. A garage with a borescope should be able to see where the coolant is coming from. I also suggest a specialist LR garage rather than a general garage. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

I had the same diagnosis from a main dealer but it turned out to be the thermostat housing. It’s a three hour job once they have the parts. Housing is £125ish and labour approximately £400.

'Once they have the parts' seems to be an issue at the monet. have same problem on mine. I've been told upper and lower thermostat housings/pipes etc are out of stock until May!
