My 2015 had a new battery fitted recently and no reset was required.

For a reasonable price, the iCarSoft LR V3 about £150 when on offer, will do 90% of the functionality of the iiD BT (£440).

I have found it very intuitive and easy to use, with free lifetime upgrades available over the internet. Thumbs Up “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

Never having used one of these how does it work?

So you have fitted a new Battery what do you do plug this in somewhere then what?

What else would you need it for, I see it says service reset, so you can by pass the manual way with just plugging this in?

Sorry if these are stupid questions just want to know if they are worthwhile. thx.

To answer my own question.

My MY2015 battery has come up low a couple of times this winter mainly because i have short trips and heated seats/steering wheel heater on too. What is the going rate for a decent replacement main battery? 2015 Range Rover L405 SDV8 AB Corris grey

@Caymanblack:

Check this out:

IIRC, main difference V2 vs V3 is suspension calibration amongst lesser things.
It’s menu-driven and very intuitive IME.

Try Tayna.co.uk
IMO you are better off changing it sooner rather than later. Many people seem reluctant to change a battery until it causes a breakdown yet the cost is a drop in the ocean of RR running costs.

Theres OBD connector under dash drivers side just plug it in it will power up and follow on screen prompts
units can cause dash to light up like Christmas tree don't panic the unit can interrupt message flow of car once your finished
cycle ignition and everything will be ok
