05 L322 Vogue won't start
I know a lot will say get a code reader but I don't have one here are my symptoms
1 Turn key to Position 2 all lights on dash light up
2 Turn key to start a low pitched morse code type sound comes from behind dash ,I have replaced battery with a know good one no difference .Tried tapping starter motor with hammer no difference
checked voltages on fuses 18,25,31 ,39 and all correct as key is turned to start position
when fault first occurred on only one occasion I was able to start vehicle when I actuated and deactivated central locking but now will not start
OK I CAN CLOSE THIS THREAD DOWN IT TURNED OUT TO BE THE IGNITION SWITCH ,I PUMPED A FEW SQUIRTS OF CRC INTO IT AND IT NOW WORKS AND STARTS EVERY KICK ,THANKS YOU FOR ALL THAT HELPED ME ,IF FAULT RE APPAERS I WILL CHANGE IT

Does any on know on an 05 L322 Vogue where then start relay is located on all the forums it states it is behind the ECU cover behind the battery but its not there , I think that only applies to V8 models and not TD6 so at this stage i am still searching for this relay to try and bridge it out ,I also disconnected the battery last night and after I reconnected it the car started but as soon as I turned the ignition to off position and tried to restart it was back to original fault , i am starting to suspect immobiliser , i can buy a used unit on eBay ex uk but i guess i will need to program my keys to new immobiliser is that still a simple process.
