Don’t understand about “the radio module”. You need a lead to the AUX connection. There is no connection to the radio. Everything else is in the cubbyhole at the rear. You do not need to access the front screen for installation. John

My comments were in relation to 2005-2009 vehicles but, as I read what you’ve been sent, it appears to be similar. The box it all plugs into is the DVD Nav box in the rear cubbyhole not the touch screen. In that way it parallels the existing system and you can switch between them, if you wish. The phono type plugs shown are for the audio and the surround cameras, if fitted.

Can I assume that in order for the Navtool to work properly, the cars actual audio system has to be working perfectly? |

As Version 6.0 uses the cars audio I would presume so. I’m not sure if that includes the radio. John

First attempt at this didn't workout, so I put everything back to stock and everything is fine. I noticed afterward the dip switches on the Navtool were up instead of down too, so that could have been the issue. It does in fact all go in under the glovebox for the 2012 model, and connects both behind the headunit (easy, 1 plug), and to the radio module above the passenger footwell (not difficult). The trick looks to be fishing a video component cable between the 2 and ensuring all the rest of the connections are tight. So far no harm, no foul. 2012 Supercharged L322 |

So to understand 100% - for wireless CarPlay you dont need to connect the Aux line? The only reason its there is for other inputs? IF that is the case you need to insert the deadhead plug to tell the system there is resistance in the aux port?

Yes, you need the AUX. While the phone to the NAVTOOL is wireless, it outputs to the headunit & stereo components via the cabling. 2012 Supercharged L322 |

Is your L322 MY 2004 or 2005? The later 2004 were MY 2005 which has the touch screen and uses a later (2005-2009) NavTool. John

Contact them via email with your VIN. Then wait for their reply. Could even end up with an offer of a discount.

uncertain which MY but it does have touch screen. Guess I can email them with VIN to confirm. This is on the list, but not in the top three yet. waiting for module to bypass steering lock issue. waiting for better weather to attack blowing noises (exhaust manifold) need brave pill to straighten steering wheel ( split shaft and move one single spline clockwise) |
