You can open a door to stop the suspension from dropping or raising but it won't stop gravity dropping the wheel you are trying to jack...

No, as I said, nothing will stop the wheel you are jacking up from dropping when you jack up the fatty, gravity takes over...!!

There is NO WAY to lock the suspension when you jack it up unless you have an anti gravity machine... |

Isn't that required for the next steps - removing the spare wheel ![]() I've tried all sorts, opening doors, boot, hazards on etc. and not found it makes any difference. Has anyone actually tried & measured a difference ? |

Does anyone know why it should not be jacked in low mode> I,m sure I have seen a Youtube video jacking the car in low mode.

Low mode... high mode, makes no difference to how high you have to jack it, on low made you just jack it more... Pete
