Clicking driving me nuts

Vid of it

https://youtube.com/shorts/19QDGHCUcEw?feature=share

It happens when I first get into the car on a morning. Clearly to do with the climate control system. Could be one of the blend motors? Its actually a sport Sad

I can't hear anything in the video but if I had to guess it's the fan inside the climate control module that blows air over the temperature sensor. You can try taking it apart, cleaning it, and putting grease on the spindle/bearing, but it won't make the noise go away completely. You could remove the fan entirely and live with slightly inaccurate cabin temps too I guess.

I can hear it very clearly (with headphones)
It reminds of a similar noise I have coming from "somewhere underneath, slightly behind the middle of the car".

Not meaning to hog your thread, but does anyone have any idea what that could be? It's a rhythmic sound, similar to the one mgrover has.

By climate control module you don't mean the blower fan that needs half the car removing to replace do you?

Or do you mean the panel itself. Its actually a sport Sad

Nothing to bring to this discussion, but slightly amused when phrase "slightly inaccurate cabin temps" is used with L322. Coming from Saab´s, where you don´t ever need to touch the temp request unless you actually want to change what you are asking for, L322´s temp control is next to useless. Mine is basically cold or hot and there seems to be nothing wrong with the system, " it´s just that the Ford-system is not that good", answer you wouldn´t expect at this segment.

Turned up fully, not muted and still no sound track at all from that short, which is weird as I can hear this one, from my early fatty no problem...

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/vn0cwOZrIQg

Is this the noise...??

If it is then it's the electrically controlled flap that takes air to the rear central vent, if you remove the side panel from the centre console you can find it behind there, I just unplugged it, it then sent air all the time to the rear but that's not really an issue...

Thumbs Up Pete

It could be one of the other flaps, take off both sides of the transmission tunnel, one torx 20 up high at the back and they pull off...

Then you maybe able to determine which one it is... if it is one...QQ Pete

Just the panel itself. It's a tiny fan.

Having had the same on 2 different cars my money is on the blend motor/actuator behind the panel by your left knee. One screw to remove the panel and the motor just snaps in or out. 5 min job. One i took apart, cleaned, and lubed and it cured the issue. The 2nd did not respond to cleaning so I swapped it for a used one.
