Could this also be that the temp is actually too high and the sensor is fine? 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

I did think that. The sensor is the one in between the cat and the DPF so took it on a long run tonight and no fault at all temp went up to 600c on bank 1 sensor 1 & 2 but not the others. Not quite sure how the temperature there would get so high compare to the one before it would understand if sensor 1 was way high due to a blocked cat. Unless the dpf was clogged but not triggering it’s warning light. |
