I'm slowly recommissioning my 2002 Td6 after being laid up for a few years with engine issues. I'll be rolling up my sleeves to swap the engine before too long, and will be looking for some inspiration and guidance along the way.

I'm Dan, just awaiting collection of my new-to-me 2012 L322 4.4TDV8 VSE.

Fuji White over Arabica, Grand Lacquer, 80K, rear entertainment and rear reclining climate seats.

Had a P38 4.6V8 about 15 years ago, since then have had numerous other things from Jeeps to Volvos to my current daily 2005 BMW 645Ci.

Wanted to get back into the RR practicality and comfort.

I am Steve, I have had my L322 2010 Vogue SE 3.6 V.8 for only a few weeks, it has 122K on the clock. So, far thanks to this forum for helping me find a few things to look out for before purchasing and for sorting a few things wrong with her already.

Just purchased my first Range Rover after 37 years driving/owning circa 60 cars. I never really got the Range Rover attraction until a minute into the test drive.

Anyway now I am hooked as long as it doesn’t break me financially….

4.4TDV8 Vogue in Santorini black, cream leather and some nice options. Had rubbish wheels but managed to source a set of brand new 21” RR sport wheels with new Scorpion tyres which now make the car look much better.

Found my way here trying to find a workshop manual for my newly acquired Tonga Green TD6 55 plate, which I'm finding is relatively rare given it's a facelifted L322, but with the old TD6.


Just working my head around having the some new bits and some old bits, like my first problem, which is sorting the sound system out. I've got the 06-09 sound system with the High Line Harman Kardon stereo.

When I bought it, the amplifier had been removed, and all loose wiring, although it looks like I'm going to need any replacement coding in properly.

Anyway, I'll post for advice in the relevant sections, and thanks in advance for all the help I will glean from this forum.

Now planning to do some tweaks once checked over and serviced.
