Yes, they only exist to guide the air-spring into the strut during factory assembly. |

There is of course another problem..
This is a 275/55r20 fully deflated.. What do others do?? I guess my choices are 1) just chuck spare in the back and have less luggage space.. 2) find a bottle of tyre sealant and a pump or3) get a roof rack?? Don’t suppose they like being driven on one corner with a spare that is 2 inches diameter smaller?? 2010 RR 4.4tdV8 Autobiography 1966 Series 2A 2.25 Petrol SWB - Sold |

Mine sits on 50mmx50mm full length strips of sponge and with the 2 plastic prongs reversed. However I've just bought 255/60R19 GG AT3 which have only just become available here by a tyre importer to fit to D4 rims to go down to 31" but retain the same sidewall height and higher load rating, although they won't be fitted for a couple of months.

Hi, looking to put 275/55 R20 on my 2012 TDV8. With these pins removed could the spacers be removed or did you still get rubbing on the front. Will probably modify the fuel filler bulge in the rear arch to.avoid rubbing there. What offset are your wheels? Any issues fitting 275 tyres on 8.5inch wheels? Some research suggests they are too wide... But seems others have done it using standard rims. Thanks for your help. 2012 4.4 TDV8 AB Sumatara Black with Ivory / Jet interior |

Hi.. sorry not sure what offset my rims are, but they are original early L322 rims, check out the photos in this post. I didn’t remove or break off any of the pins as I didn’t need to, but I have got lift rods and spacers.. interestingly I now have 275/55 r20 Goodrich AT K02s on the front (as the grabber sidewalls failed ) and they don’t rub at all.. 2010 RR 4.4tdV8 Autobiography

No worries, thanks. Yeh did see them think they are 20 x 8.5. with a 58mm offset like mine, which are the 2012 Autobiography wheels/were also on the Westminster.

I had 275/55R20 KO2 and Pirelli AT+ mounted on my original MY12 rims. Suspension heights are standard and no spacers were fitted, which are highly illegal here anyway. |
