alcohol level in windscreen wash v wiper blade longevity?

I noticed during the most recent cold spell, when using more concentrated windscreen wash which was good to -10c, my wiper blades 808s which were new beginning of December are now already in need of replacement - juddering and screeching across the glass.

Can that be right? Could the level of alcohol in the windscreen wash affect wiper blade longevity?
The glass has recently been replaced…but can’t imagine it is the new glass causing the problem (it is genuine branded LR glass)

I use undiluted screenwash all year round, have done for years - my wiper blades tend to get changed annually and don't suffer noise or juddering.
Are you sure the wiper arms were put back at the correct angle when the screen was fitted? believe it or not, there is a special tool for aligning the angle of the arms and therefore the blades, I'll see if I can find the details.

ETA - there you go!

Mine were awful when it was cold as the wipers had frozen and wouldn't fold back on the screen, deicer sorted them... Pete

The rubber will get harder as the temps drop which doesn’t help. Not sure what other additives are in screenwash to help lubricate the blade and reduce judder but I do notice differences in the quality of the screen washing action between brands. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)
