L405 2018 5.0 AB

Hi guys

Had a few ranges l322 and classics over the years and looking at getting into 1. Found this well specced car that Iā€™m close to doing a deal on and wondered if anyone knew the car and if there was anything I needed to get checked before buying? It comes with a 6 month non oem warranty so trying to go into it with eyes open.

Thank you šŸ‘

Looks very nice - I'm sure you'll enjoy it. IMO nothing particular to look for with the 5.0 SC - just the normal checks and feel for how genuine the car/description is. Maybe check how well the upper tailgate aligns with the aperture - apparantly many don't and they drop a bit. Otherwise you just need to be lucky! Mike - MPx

I bet!! Stunning cars! Do you know the difference in engine between the standard 5.0 and your car? Also is the only way you can get carplay by having it plugged in?

Engine differences fairly minor. I think they upped the std for MY18 to 525bhp and the first SVA was 543bhp although that went to 565 in '18. The SVA is slightly lower some slightly different software and has some nice extra detailing like quilted seats/chrome inserts/knurled controls/etc, but on the downside a lower tow capacity.

Sorry I'm not a carplayer so not aware - someone will be along soon who will know. Mike - MPx

Germany 2019 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Montalcino Red

I brought a CarlinKit so I have Wireless CarPlay. It works ok, it is just plugs into where you would play the cable in.

In the summer it has got hot and goes slow. Now I know that I move it to the cup holder instead of under the Center console lid, where it lives the rest of the year. SDV8 AB MY 2020
