In the next few months, I will do my first oil change as the car is now under an extended warranty. As part of that work, I'm thinking of cleaning the DPF. I have watched some YouTube videos on this and started reading about this on the internet. If it is as easy as they show in the videos.

Question: Is this a good preventative measure? or if the active Regens are working leave well alone?

The process is adding cleaner via a pipe into the DPF and then running the car with something to catch the mess when it comes out of the exhaust. SDV8 AB MY 2020

If the DPF isn't causing any problems I'd be tempted to leave it alone, My L322 has done over 120K miles and never had a DPF fault and never had any additional cleaning.
