You seem to get through a few different vehicles, I would imagine the C63 is way different when moving to a RR, they do sound nice.

Yes i have gone through a few.

Does anyone know if roll stability control is standard in the 2012 Westminister?

Instead of creating a new thread I thought I could bump a 4 year old one.

A 2010 3.6 TDV8 has come up for sale close to me, 100K UK miles, at decent price (17.4K GBP) 4 owners, Autobiography trim that according to the add had some work done to it. I'm planning on taking a look on Thursday but I'm not 100% sure if I should wait for a 4.4. For your reference L322's usually not come up for sale. For example a recently imported 2011 4.4 are for sale at 23.7K GBP.

I thought it is a great time for a decent bargain in times of high diesel prices, but when I turn to the FFRR forum I am reminded of that the 4.4 is the engine to have.

What work should been taken care of so I confidently can proceed with the 3.6TV8?

Or should I keep waiting for a 4.4 FL if I go Diesel or potentially a 4.2 SC?

Personally, I prefer the 3.6 - a bit lower performance, 6 speed vs. 8 speed 'box but also more resilient - even with the age premium. I'm not sure about the 'Brunost' seats & trim though.... The prices seem high for UK but probably about right for Sweden.

Other than all fluid changes - including transmission, road test on some minor roads if you can, check for rattles or any 'unsettled' movement. Check the air suspension goes from access to offroad at least twice without any issues ('rising slowly' is OK if you do too many changes in a short time), look for uneven tyre wear, check all infotainment functions work, as do heated/cooled seats - don't rely on lights on the dash, check temperatures. The six-speed 'box can be a bit clunky when changing - it's a 'feature' but if there is roll-in or roll-out clunks, this can indicate transfer box or driveline issues rather than transmission, provided it's had an oil change...
Check the rear jacking points & wheelarches for corrosion, likewise the upper tailgate.
If all the above is OK, you're good to go!

if you're ok with buying a car, to accept there might be some more money to spend to get it completely sorted.perhaps. then prices for the 4.4 tdv8 cars can start here.. with this trade sale, with no guarantees etc. at 6000 gbp with just 114k, and is the westminster version, so has the heated/cooled seats. you could pay another 10,000 for a similar car, and get a warranty of course ... car is nothing to do with me, just stumbled on it recently. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/304748185747?ha...R5KIwOanYQ
