LED Lightbar Install

Whilst I am not a pioneer, thought I post a few photos from my light bar installation. Has turned out to be a very elegant and discreet spotlight solution.

I used a Blackoak 30 inch curved LED bar which amazingly lines up perfectly with two of the bumper bolts. It's depth is also perfect to sit snugly behind the grille.

Was happy to do the mounting myself but took it to an auto electrician with Range Rover experience to wire it up.

That’s a very neat installation. Looks like a perfect solution to the poor output of the pre-2018 lights without spoiling the looks. 2019 L405 SDV8 Autobiography

Very similar to my install… I’m working on a can-bus relay solution atm to allow it to only come on at a pre programmed speed! So say above 40 or 50mph so your not dazzling other drivers unnecessarily at slow speeds… 👍

That looks a great fit in that space. Do you feel the grill affects the light pattern as is you see darker parts cause its blocked, or is it all quite even? V8 or else ...

Light distribution is quite even. No grille pattern is projected as far as I can tell.

Probably helps that it's a double row light bar. The center section is spot with a 15 degree vertical spread and the sides are flood with a 45 degree vertical spread
