The air intake AKA donut, not the inlet manifolds. |

Only donut one. Then you can reach by hand or some clever tools inside the rest of the manifold and clean it. Prepare kerosine, solvent, brake cleaner and lots of old socks - they are the best for the job. First kerosine with some tool for scratching (like the one you clean bottles). When it’s clean from black stuff, use something strong (microwave, ovencleaner), leave to dry. There is a youtube video how to remove manifold step by step. And after this process you can use liqui moly just to clean the end part of the manifold. Be careful when removing throttle body and egr pipe, there are rubber seals inside. |

Ou, donut is removed and cleaned already, its easy. I use high pressure washer for that. But Iam talking about manifolds, that is quite impossible on this engine at home. |
