Thule roof bar feet help-I think I must be thick.

I promise I have used the search function, but the results just seem to get me more confused.

I have a set of Thule aero roof bars, that I used on my D4. However, how do I attach them to my 2006 L322?

The bars have those rubber srtips that wrap around rof rails on the D4, all very easy.

So I am assuming that I need some feet that go into the roof where those flappy bits lift up-BUT, the websites that I have looked at say they have nothing for my car Question

So, are there feet that available? If so, which ones?

On my Thule roof bars the feet wrap around the door shut and then clamp in place so can only be removed when the doors are open.

I think you can change the feet to ones compatible with the L322 easily as long as the cross bars are long enough.

Not sure if they did a version that connects to the roof channels (with flaps raised) or roof bars (if fitted). Tom

Thank you. The ones that clamp the roof above the doors will solve the problem, and I hadn't thought of those.

Thumbs Up

I have a hunch that Thule have stopped production of the correct feet... Sad

Are the bars adjustable for width? If so you may have to get LR rails which attach under the “flappy bits” and then the bars clamp to them. If I understood correctly.
Not cheap but you might find someone on here who has a pair they want to sell. John

Have you tried the Roof Bar Company website?
