Hi mate it was a split in one of the intake pipes that has caused the build up of soot |

Just an update, have given up on the icarsoft and bought the GAP IID. Forced regenerated the car and then cleared the codes and all back to normal with the red dpf full warning gone. Took the soot content from 33.4g to 0.6g. Wish I'd just bought the IID tool at the start instead of wasting money on the icarsoft. |

Ditto. I bought an icarsoft being a tight northerner and then realised its compared to the IID. IID now in glovebox permanently

Can anyone list the things which will stop IID from doing a forced regen please?

Which versions of the iCarSoft are we talking about above? 1, 2, or 3?

That DTC will prevent a regen (correlation error) not be set due to one being required. Check the differential pressure with ign. on, engine off - should be pretty close to 0kpa, anything else can point to blocked pipes, condensate in the sensor or a faulty sensor, all of which are 'Tom Jones' problems. |

Hi, just checked and the "Particulate filter differential pressure - measured" is reading N/A whether the engine is running, or just ignition on. Am I looking at the correct live value?

This sounds promising. I just got an iCarsoft v2.0 and have the red triangle - wondering how to clear it. Do you go through the options to select 'force regen', then take it on a drive in limp home mode to clear it, or do you do it while it is standing on the drive, just keeping the revs up? Will it clear in limp mode? Ta |

Only the voltage shows as a live value. Use the Workshop manual downloadable from the Wiki to tell you what the voltages mean 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

Nice one. That's really helpful. Will limp it onto the motorway later and give it a go. Thanks again. |
