I think it just has electric engagement, no electric motor. I'd be inclined to disconnect the multiplug just to be safe.

I had a clicking that was constant new water pump fitted all gone so now onto fan to rule that out 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8

Clicking on the 4.4 TDV8 whilst it's warming up, coming from the viscous fan coupling, is entirely normal and nothing to be worried about.

my clicking seems to be louder now than what it was in the summer months, but is does ebb away when engine is warm, or after I have driven for ten minutes and park up - I have a quick listen before I turn off the engine,
