Another set of oil cooler O-rings changed here too. Complete with losing the bolt down the back of the engine, much swearing and cursing, but now have a drip free driveway and a happy memsahib. Next up - brakes! |

Cleaned out the old girl after a 625 mile trip to Ceredigion and Pembs. It is amazing just how much sand you can collect in a car in a week?

Whilst washing my L322 last weekend I noticed I had a scuttle retaining pin missing (passenger side). Which led me to check the remaining ones which had turned white!

Drove 1220 miles round trip up to Scotland and back (over 3 days). Got an average of 22 mpg! Not bad from a 15 year old Supercharged! And was so comfortable the whole time, what a great vehicle. 01 Disco 2 4.0 V8

Drove to the wirral - 250miles and first trip after blanking Egr valves. Much more responsive, no turbo lag. Disappointed that fuel consumption is the same - about 30mpg at constant 2000rpm on motorway. 2007 3.6 TDV8

Changed the osf door release cable, not difficult to do and now I can open the door from outside once again. Managed to get the cable for £7 on line. |

Used the car to take family to a bonfire night fireworks display this evening, all cars (Well into four figures ) parked on fields with relatively long grass which quickly became a quagmire. Upon leaving I was going to help free a stuck car when I was asked to help a lady with a mini-bus full of children with 'learning difficulties'

Took it for MOT today, flew straight through. 2 advisories slight oil leak which is just the power steering fluid and corroded brake pipe. Great result I'd say. |

It wasn’t until I saw ‘er indoors use the brakes that I realised the third brake light was only 50% illuminating!
