You just gotto love those links... They go directly to the sponsored commies that have somehow (I do wonder how sometimes) brainwashed some certain peeps/types into believing a complete load of bulls-legs... The same loons that have been pumping out yet more crap about climate catastrophe being involved in the Keys etc... So we gotto eat tarantulas and bury our own turds to appease the new Gods and idols of globalist lunacy... Are you sponsored? |

In all respects, and as someone else has already pointed out: we drive in complete luxury while you drive in a shoe box... But at least you're saving the planet - not!!! |

30-miles per gallon?!? Are you constantly towing your house? My range on a full tank in my 4.4 twin turb V8 (60,000 miles) is anywhere between 580 to 660 miles... or does that equate to 30 mpg?!? I wonder if it is down to pedal action also - I stroke my pedals like they were Marilyn Monroe in that gold dress, not Nora Batty in wellies... |

While a Mini isn't "luxury" it's not a bad place to be

Well, if you run out of fuel** in a fossil fuelled vehicle it's a lot easier to get going again with a jerry can full of the required fluid. Not so easy with an EV if the grid is down unless you have access to a gen' set, which uses............ fossil fuel. ** & before someone points out that you should not run out of fossil fuel because you can damage the DPF or other bits I'm aware of that. |

Some people on here seem top be in the fortunate position of having what almost amounts to a "fleet".

Careful planning should mean you never run out of fuel, or electricity I can count only twice we (our household) have suffered a power cut In the same way that I can only recall 2 (maybe 3) fuel shortages Horses for courses |

No I really do love the mini - esp the newer retro look but with FAB colour co-ordinates. Plus the mini is great if you are about to do a heist in, say, Italy, or summit. Is that a rental fleet? If it is, bloody extortionate prices. |

Plus, the manufacturers or their globalist tech masters can switch EVs off simply whenever they want to... Don't want an upgrade or service just yet: they can switch you off and out nuff said. |

It already has. In the US a number of our cousins have been locked out of their EVs either because of not going asap with expensive upgrades (EVs are for cybermen remember ) or very regular services, and bizarre things needing replacing, like bad batteries, that can be costed at tens of thousands of pounds/dollars. Several recent cases in the US are where batteries have gone dead before their sell by date and should be covered under warranty but the manufacturer has said, nah, not paying for that on warranty, you pay for new one, $40,000 please! No pay? Car locked! Simples. Globalist tech Build Back Better wins... The ultimate goal with these EV fads is for US to be removed from the roads, and driving, altogether. But THEY'LL be just fine, and will still use their private jets as well... mostly to get to a COP or Davos bash, after being accepted first and forking out half a mill to join the club... And the irony of all this is they aren't hiding it no more... Not that I trust any surveys, but one recent one suggests that 4 out of 5 peeps who go EV are getting rid after a year and returning to trusty old-fashioned modes of transport: petrol or diesel... |
