First fault in my L322 - and its a biggy!

Hi all

Jacked the front left of my RR up today to change tyres over.

As I did this I suddenly heard a high pressure woosh noise from the other side - front ride. Sounded like a balloon bursting

Now I get " car rising slowly" message and a hissing sound from front right.

Am I right in thinking the airbag has sprung a leak?

I can feel high pressure air coming from around the bottom of the strut

Is there anything to do apart from get a new strut?

Thanks all

Air bags can be replaced on their own and fitted to the old strut. Advanced Factors do a kit. Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

And also probably what you don’t want to hear - by both sides, they have a habit of both failing at about the same time

I had that sort of scenario on mine, I changed just the bags and to be honest, found it to be an easy job, beautifully simple design and straight forward to do. I go my bags from Island 4x4, not Land Rover ones, they were silly money but OEM ones at £150 each.

The first side took me 1.5 hrs, the second side less than an hour. BMW i3 Electric Car

I replaced both fronts with Arnotts almost 5 years ago and I have had zero issues since.
