Another price rise..

it looks like the base price is going up AGAIN by another £8K.

I would expect to see that reflected in the used L460 market as well.

Good news for those that have taken collection. Not good news for those with orders in.

They are starting to push the price too much in my opinion.
My car is lovely but would I consider it at another £8k on top of the £5k I've already stumped up.... not so sure. I would think twice and might settle for an HSE spec car, I'm not that well off to brush aside these rises, thats £13k in the last 6 months for my AB. They are seriously expensive cars now and aren't even very exclusive.
Maybe time for them to wind in their profit margin a bit or maybe the waiting list will take a hit. Current fleet:

2020 Mercedes C300 Cabriolet
2023 PHEV 440 SE
1992 Lotus Esprit turbo
2019 Alpine A110

I don't think AB vs HSE matters at all - the incoming price rises are across the range - so your cost of ownership / depreciation are similar.

Are they offering any additional options included in the price rise or is it just a price hike for the same spec ? 2021 P400 Silicon Silver AB

I'm not saying you're wrong for one minute 911SF, but who told you this?

A further price increase wouldn't surprise me in the slightest (it's just another small price we pay for saving the people of Ukraine!).

There's nothing on the configurator yet, so just wondered who'd said this and when it will be coming into force?

There is a huge increase in the cost 0f aluminium coming down the road due to energy costs. Maybe various governments will hold some of that increase back a little with energy subsidies. That said , there seems to be more and more plastic and less aluminium in the body work!

SORRY should look first. I saw an article about aluminium smelters closing and assumed….

Just looked up the alu price & not so horrible. Depends where JLR hedged.

Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc
