Has anyone got any pictures of the removal pipe under the engine that can be used for draining the oil ??

Thanks Greg, if I suspect that it is leaking again I will have to look into getting a new pipe fitted., but it is fine at the moment and the garage wiped it clean and cleaned up the spillage that had pooled on the undertray.

They can be carefully removed and replaced but TBH its easier to replace the whole connector. They leak due to ageing and constant temperature changes over the years. Same goes for the one on the 3.0l engine, in fact, its the same part. |

Thanks Phoenix, I thought it must be deteriorating due to age.

I'm fairly sure they only come as a complete assembly but you can tale the end fitting and the flexible pipe off and just fit that, there's no need to change the whole thing. |
